I must commend you on your Mazda team! On July 12, I received an email promoting the 2016 Mazda CX-9. I loved the way the car looked, the machine gray metallic color, and the option to have seven seats. I have five grandchildren and need that capability. I wanted a good-looking car with a comfortable ride for at least four adults for traveling. I also wanted an option to carry several grandchildren. The CX-9 would be a perfect option. I emailed you that day to schedule an appointment for a test drive. Peyton Hairston called me back within the hour to schedule an appointment for that evening. I decided I really liked the grand touring model, but I really wanted the machine gray metallic with the sand interior rather than the pearl option at the dealership. After negotiations, we agreed on a price and closed the deal. The next day, Peyton let me know that the CX-9 they thought they had found for me was not available. He said you had been in touch with your sales rep from Mazda, Chris Sims, and couldn't find what I had wanted. He said they would continue to look, but if one could not be found, I might have to have one custom made, and that could take up to four months. I talked with Peyton the next week, and he said he had good news. I believe you had gone further up the chain of command to try find me the CX-9 I wanted and get it reallocated to me. Your contact found one CX-9 machine gray metallic with sand interior on a boat coming from Japan, and put my name on it. It was to arrive around August 17 but actually got to the dealership on August 12. I think, it part to the effort of others to make this a priority. In closing, I want to let you know that I was so impressed with your dealership and the principles in which it runs. Peyton was so professional, kind, mannerly and patient as my sales consultant. I felt very comfortable talking with him. Jeff Nissen was also very kind and professional with the financial and closing aspect of this transaction. I had a great experience with your team. I love the fact that I never felt like I was being pushed around. I felt like everyone was interested in what was best for me. What did I want and need? What would work best for me financially? What could they do to make the deal work for me and for Mazda. Your focus is on satisfying the customer. Please share this email with all involved. I have bought two cars from the gentlemen at this dealership and I am treated as family and with great respect every time I go in. The dealership is always clean and well maintained. The service guys always get me in and out as fast as possible and with my schedule sometimes that is a challenge. They have even worked with me when I had odd requests. The parts department has always been straight with me and given me options if they didn't have something available. My 2014 was the first Mazda I ever owned and didn't have any issues with it. I found myself in the unfortunate position of having to buy a car. Even more unfortunate for me, I'm extremely picky-I know what I want and am unwilling to settle for less. After countless hours of research, my decision was made on a CX-5. I found one online, and the same day I inquired about it, I received a call from the internet sales manager, Matt Lawson. After a couple of weeks of test drives, texting, and a lot of laughs (yes, car buying can be fun), I happily drove away with my brand new CX-5 for a fair price. Every single person at Mazda Knoxville was nice to me. The salespeople that weren't trying to sell me a car chatted with me while I waited on paperwork, etc. Jeff, in the finance department, was particularly helpful. I was having an issue with my infotainment screen the next day, so I sent Matt a text. He did everything he could to help me figure out the problem. He had already made the sale--he could have just ignored me and made me wait until the service department was open, but that's not the kind of people you deal with at Mazda Knoxville. I don't plan on buying another car for at least a decade or so, but when I'm in the market again, I'll zoom-zoom back to Mazda Knoxville.
I recently purchased a 2016 CX-5 Grand Touring at Mazda of Knoxville and I absolutely love it! Donnie Rawls was our sales associate. We have purchased 2 vehicles from him at Mazda previously and this is our third purchase! (I also recently referred my brother whom also purchased a Mazda CX-9). I had a 2012 Certified Pre-owned Mazda CX-7 for 3 years and never had a single problem out of it. When the CX-5 came out, I immediately had my eye on them. Well, yesterday my dream came true! My lovely husband bought one for me for our 5 year anniversary!!! - Props to him and to Donnie for making this happen! Everything from customer service, paper work, and the overall process is great! They worked out a great deal for us and now I'm cruising in style! The car has all the bells and whistles inside from navigation, voice command, home link for my garage system, touch screen, Bluetooth etc.. and well the body style, in my opinion, is one- if not the MOST stylish and sleek looking SUV out now!...
